The Dress

This is an original Anna Campbell sample dress from the 2019 collection. I bought it in 2020 but never had the opportunity to wear it so it has not been altered.

The beautiful lace runs the full length of the soft trumpet style dress and features small sequins that sparkle in low light. Although it's technically strapless, the lace shoulder applique makes you feel supported and less exposed than if you were in a true strapless. The applique panel is attached to the dress and goes over your head and is secured on each side near the ribs (small clasps removed in preparation of alterations). It features a small but manageable train which can be gathered and attached as a bustle (see second last photo for full train).

The mannequin form is antique so it's not a great fit for the dress but it gives you a good idea of the full body trumpet shape.

Condition:
As a sample dress, it would benefit from a professional clean and has some very minor wear.

Very sad to have to sell the dress since I never had the chance to wear it but we're renovating our house and need the cash. Currently located in Melbourne Northern suburbs but I'm often in Melbourne CBD for work so can make arrangements near CBD.
