The Dress

What first caught my eye about this dress was the intricate beading design with an Art Deco vibe. I had not seen anything else like it when trying on dresses. I also loved the halter neckline and how it complimented my hips without being too tight.

As for comfort, I had absolutely no discomfort sitting, walking, posing, eating, or dancing in this dress! I wore it from 2PM to 2AM without a hitch. I actually did not end up changing into my second dress at my reception, because I was so comfortable in this dress.

Overall, I felt so confident and beautiful on my wedding day!

Alterations

The dress was hemmed, and the sides were taken in to fit me. The dress has a French bustle (see final photo).

I had the cups removed as they were too large and new cups put in. Fortunately, my tailor made the cups very easy to remove, so it will be easy to modify the cup size on this dress in either direction.

My tailor also added in an internal belt to take some of the weight off the straps as the dress is a bit heavy (again, I found it very comfortable and had no issue wearing it for 12 hours!). The belt can easily be removed.
