I wish I had another reason to wear this beautiful dress again, but I've already had my day and it's time to let someone else let this dress shine. This dress was perfect on my wedding day, save for the bust being kind of loose, but that was my fault for not trying it on until last minute and stressing out my seamstress. I liked how light it felt on my body even though it is rather heavy on a hanger and I like that the train is not very long but has an elegant feel to it. I also had a bustle added so I could do my first dance and dance the night away in it.
Alterations
This dress was purchased and altered to my body type prior to the pandemic. My body had changed a great deal by the time my husband and I were able to have our wedding two years later. I needed to get the dress hemmed, cups added, bust/ waist taken in, and then had to loosen up the bust, and got a bustle added (video of how to do bustle can be sent over for reference).
