The Dress

I absolutely love this dress. It was a total dream to wear it on my wedding day; I don't even have words to describe how beautiful this dress is, and how beautiful I felt wearing it.

It's head-to-toe lace, backless, and it has a gorgeous, romantic train, with an amazing lace hemline. It's a real show-stopper without being over the top, not to mention it's really comfortable! It's lined with a soft, smooth, stretchy nude-colored fabric and I felt like I could move freely all day on my wedding while still feeling glamorous.

Only worn once for the wedding, professionally cleaned, and looks the way it did when I bought it brand-new (plus the alterations I had done).

All of the pictures are of the actual dress. The picture of the dress hanging in my bedroom is the way it looks today.

Alterations

I had the dress hemmed to my height- 5'6" or 5'7". I wore flats with it. My alterer was amazing and kept the delicate lace hemline. The cap sleeves were also a little big for me, they would fall off my shoulders before, so I had them taken in a little bit to "contain" me a bit better.

No other alterations were done to the dress besides the hem and sleeves. The dress comes with boning inside the chest and torso for support, kind of like a corset but actually comfortable.
