I received my second, duplicate gown (that I purchased for extra length), but although I ordered it to my custom measurements, it came with plenty of extra room in the bust and waist area and is even longer than my original gown was. I brought this duplicate gown to a seamstress and had it pinned to my size, but since it was only 2 days before my vow renewal, I decided against alterations of this dress and to wear my original dress instead. I am now selling this custom made, BRAND NEW WITH TAGS, unaltered, untouched (except to try on for pinning and for these listing pictures) PURE SILK SATIN, backless, bias cut gown with 80cm train and wrist/finger loop. I have included my own measurements in this listing, but as stated above, there is extra room in this dress - what seems to be about 2” in the bust and waist, and 1-2” in the hips. I am 5’10” and with 4” heels, there is 3-4” of extra length. (I am wearing 4” heels in these updated listing pictures and video.)
This heirloom-quality gown could easily be altered if needed, and as it is the most luxe, buttery smooth, all-natural fabric with its slight sheen and gorgeous color, it is a steal at this price! This dress is everything!
Custom made ivory pure silk satin (double layer 22 momme) bias cut slip gown with chapel train (80cm) and finger loop. Divine, buttery fabric cut on the bias to drape and hug your curves perfectly. I had this gown custom made to my measurements for my upcoming vow renewal on the beach. Upon arrival, I had the back of the gown opened and had it hemmed by a local seamstress. I adore the gown, but the hem is too short for my liking. I am 5’10” and will be wearing 3.5” heels. The dress hits the ground when standing in the heels, but I wanted more puddling around my feet, which is why I’m selling this dress and having another one made. This gown is brand new, in perfect condition, and has not been worn, except to try on and for alterations, and therefore has not been dry-cleaned. I will also include the breathable cotton bag that came with the gown for storing this silk satin heirloom-quality piece. I love the way this gown moves when walking and how it hugs and drapes effortlessly over the body. It feels so luxurious, and can be dressed up or down with any style - from ethereal Goddess to old Hollywood glamour. Since I decided to purchase a new gown for more length, I am now selling this one. My loss is your gain!
