The Dress

The 'Neva' dress by Rita Vinieris' "RIVINI" collection is a beautiful ivory fit and flare gown. The 3D floral appliqué detail throughout the entirety of the dress gives an ethereal, romantic feel with a sexy fit. The corset bodice offers great structure and I added two off-the-shoulder detachable tulle sleeves (using leftover flowers from the hem) for added softness and a change in look from ceremony to reception. This dress was light, airy, and SO comfortable - great mobility for dancing in! (Check out our dip in the last photo)!

I really loved the Galia Lahav style, so my bridal consultant informed me that I could purchase GL's galaxy tulle fabric and sew it in - so I did! I loved their shimmer fabric for extra sparkle so I purchased 1 yard of Galia Lahav's galaxy tulle for $500 and had the tailor sew it into the skirt of the bodice. It is the layer directly under the top Rivini lace for added subtle glisten. The upper bodice corset remains untouched - semi sheer and very flattering!

I can also include a cathedral veil from Etsy in this price! There was so much detail in the dress between the flower appliqué and galaxy shimmer tulle, that I went for a plain veil (but double layer for added drama walking down the aisle).

I have never received more compliments - and cannot tell you how many people told me it was the most beautiful wedding dress they have ever seen!!!

Alterations

1. Took in corset from bridal 4 to bridal 2. Fits like a 0 in bust and 2 in hips, practically speaking.
2. Added Galia Lahav galaxy shimmer tulle (skirt only - upper corset remains sheer)
3. Added detachable sleeves (via snap buttons inside) using flowers from extra hemmed fabric
4. Added bra cup padding (no push up, just what you see in bathing suits. Sewn in).
5. Hemmed to shoes which had a 4" heel (I am 5' 5.5" tall)
6. Sewed bustle holes
