The Dress

Justin Alexander 8721 has a stunning lace bateau neckline and cap sleeves, leading to a silk dupion circular cut skirt. The skirt features pockets and a side beaded flower motif belt that sits at the natural waist. Silk dupion buttons enclose the back and run down to the edge of the chapel length train.

I had a couple of alterations carried out on the dress. I had the original flower motif removed and had it replaced with a sparkly beading band over the front waist - as I wanted some sparkle. However, I still have the flower motif, so it would be easy for a seamstress to remove the sparke and add the flower back on - please refer to Manufacturer's pictures of dress to see flower motif.
I also had the dress taken up slightly. I am 5ft 7, so the dress was floor length on me when I had 3 inch heels on. The dress would fit size high street 16/18 and could be altered to fit smaller. The dress was purchased in October 2014.

The dress has side pockets which you don't notice, but for me as the bride they were perfect as I could keep my tissue in one pocket and my lipstick in the other! :-)

The dress has been professionally dry cleaned, twice. This is due to some faint marking around the bottom of the dress, from being outside having photo's taken. Some of these marks remain, but are faint - this is reflected in the asking price. To be honest, once the dress was on you would not notice them unless up very close. I would also throw in the hooped underskirt free of charge (original cost £80).

To be complete the honest this was not the type of dress I ever thought I would be in (I thought I would choose A-Line, sparkly dress) , but my Mum asked me to try it on and I just fell in love with it - it is just stunning and I felt absolutely amazing on the day - a true princess!! Everyone ablsolutely loved the dress.
