The Dress

Ivory lace covers a cashmere-colored fabric to give this dress various hues of white, ivory and beige. There is ruching on the butt and a long sweep train. The dress sits right above floor length to prevent tripping. The bust has been slight altered to be a more tradition “V” neck instead of the slightly rounded cup. The dress is form fitting from the shoulders to the hips and then flares from the thighs to the floor. It has only been worn once in May 2022 for a destination wedding. The dress travels well as I was able to fold it to fit in a carry-on duffle bag, and it needed minimal steaming when I arrived.

Alterations

The dress was altered to street size 3/4. The sides were brought in slightly and the cups we altered to fit a size A cup. The neckline is also a straighter “V” neck than the original rounded “V” neck. There is little to no fabric to let out if you are wanting to size up. The dress is form fitting from the shoulders to the thighs. The length sits right above the floor with me being 5’6 wearing 2 1/2 inch heels.
