The Dress

This is a mermaid white/ivory satin dress with a sheer mesh on the upper half that includes beautiful lace stitching with pearls. The dress has built in nude colored chest pads for sheer wear and has an open heart shaped cut in the back. It has full sheer sleeves covered in the lace and pearls. It has a zipper in the lower back and a few buttons up top behind the neck. The dress is not dry cleaned so it has cleanable dust/dirt stains at the very bottom from one wear but aside from that, it is in excellent condition. The dress highlights every curve in the body and begins to loosen up just above the knees for comfort/walking. It has about 2 inches of built in horsehair at bottom of the dress to hold it down for perfect structure when walking. Please note: This dress does not have an actual label size (picture included for reference), but it was very large when first trying on so the alterations made it fit to my size which is generally about size 4-6 medium.

Alterations

The alterations made were to tighten up the entire dress to hug the body from the arm sleeves, to the waistline, and the hip area. A few inches of Horsehair at the bottom of the dress were removed for a more natural dress fall at the bottom. Additional original lace was added to the top of the dress for more coverage.
