I ordered the dress online without ever trying a Grace Loves Lace dress on and WOW. I would compare it to wearing lululemon. It is completely stretch lace (no zippers or buttons), pulls on and is unbelievably comfortable! I was blown away that a wedding dress could fit and feel this effortless but still be sleek and bridal. I dressed it up with gloves and a blusher veil and felt so comfortable and happy all day and night.
This dress will fit anyone within the size 4-8 category. Honestly, every dress should be made out of stretch lace. It's incredible!
Alterations
I ordered a size 8 because I wasn't sure what to expect for size and I would rather it be a bit too big than too small. I had the waist taken in and the slit on the right leg closed a bit (which can easily be reopened). There is still a beautiful lace train detail and the length was unaltered. My seamstress kept commenting on how glamorous and classy the dress it. It's simple and stunning.
