The Dress

Showstopper wedding dress! I adored my dress so much - it really has the wow factor.

It’s made of stunning mikado silk and I purchased the dress from the Pronovias flagship store on London’s Bond Street.

The colour is described as ‘off white’.

I’m 5’2 and wore 4 inch heels with it. I’ve had it professionally cleaned and packed in a beautiful box. It would just need to be steamed and pressed.

The only minor flaws are a tiny tiny makeup mark at the back of the corset part, and there is small grey stain on the end of the dress at the back, and under the dress in the netting that no-one can see. They are very faint. I can show you these in photos if you’re interested in this dress.

I will be emotional to see the dress go as I felt amazing in it but I don’t think having it under the bed is a good use for it either!

Alterations

The front of the dress was taken up so it reached the tips of my toes.
The dress is size 8 but I got the dress maker at the Pronovias store to take it in and now it’s a size 6/size 7. A dresser maker could restore it to a size 8.
