The Dress

Gorgeous 1950's inspired circular cut lace tea length wedding dress by Justin Alexander. The dress is strapless with an alencon lace sweetheart neckline and a silk dupion pleated cummerbund. It comes with a silk flower and feather which was originally pinned to the cummerbund but which I had attached to a clip instead and wore in my hair. It could easily be popped back on the waist. The back features covered buttons over a zipper. It also comes with optional straps that can be attached if desired.

The tea length and full skirt on this dress made it sooooo much fun to wear and easy to move around in, no worries about it trailing it around on the ground or getting stood on. It was easy to dance in and great for show casing your shoes if you want to wear something unique.

I purchased the dress in April 2014 for my wedding in May 2014. I'm not sure what my measurements were at the time but I was usually a size NZ 10-12, probably closer to a 10 at that time and approx 60kg and 163cm tall. It has an internal elastic bodice which means you don't need to wear a bra and it feels very secure. The length has not been altered. As you can see in the photos the hem is just above my ankles. I am 163cm without shoes. It was professionally dry cleaned and boxed right after the wedding. I've just had it checked and cleaned again to refresh it prior to putting it up for sale. I would have loved to keep this dress but sadly I just don't have room and would love for someone else to be able to enjoy it.

The dress comes in a box with the flower clip, straps, the veil you see in the photos (if you would like it) and original fitting instructions.

Alterations

The bodice was taken in slightly to fit me perfectly right before the wedding by the bridal shop where I purchased it. The flower was removed from the waist band and attached to a hair clip. The length has not been altered.
