The Dress
This is a gorgeous two piece wedding gown. One has the option to cover the waist with a satin sash. It is in a very soft blush hue. The bodice has crystals, rhinestones, and cream georgette silk fabric florets. This gown was the main dress featured in Monique Lhuillier‘s 2005 wedding ad campaign. The skirt portion of the gown is duchess silk satin. It features strategically placed ruching and the train snaps into the dress for ease of movement. The gown has been worn once. Then, professionally cleaned and preserved by J.Scheer & Co. in New York City. It remains in their storage preservation box.
Alterations
The gown is a size 2, Monique Lhuillier, to accommodate a larger bust than the size 0 would allow. The waist has been altered to 25 inches.
