The Dress

I had this beautiful custom made Marianna Hardwick gown made for my wedding (Dec 2021). It is such a stunning and comfortable dress and I felt amazing wearing it. I’d be sad to have it sit in a box so would love to pass it on to another bride.
Here is some info about the dress:
The bottom half of the dress is a triple layer silk faille fabric with a split on the left left just above the knees. The top half of the dress is hand beaded with pearls and crystals with the neck and back area a sheer material. I had them build in cups and boning to help support and give a stunning hour glass shape to the waist area.
The dress has been customized with buttons running down the back just past the bottom overlying a central zip to help accentuate curves.
There is also a custom made detachable overskirt made from a double layer of organza and crinoline netting at the hem of the skirt which creates cannoli like waves which looks absolutely stunning when walking. There are three wrist loops to help hold the skirt up when walking if needed.
There are in build hidden clips on the skirt and loops on the dress that allow for easy attachment and removal of the skirt. This was the best decision I made to be able to have the “full bridal look” for the ceremony and then be able to remove the skirt and dance the night away for the reception.
Please note the veil is not included.
The dress has only been worn once for a city based (mainly indoor) wedding. It has been dry cleaned immediately after the wedding. The pearls on the top row at the neckline are slightly discoloured but barely noticeable. The dress otherwise is in perfect condition with no stains or tears.
