The Dress

I couldn't look past the gorgeous Adara gown.

The bodice is a corset, which is extremely flattering, the shape of the lace contributes to creating a beautiful hourglass.

I feel strapless wedding dresses are a dime a dozen, so a Rue De Seine seamstress used some of the excess trim to make flowing, feminine cap sleeve/strap. It framed the dress beautifully. I felt these were more chic designer and less bohemian than the detachable wing sleeves.

Adara is a romantic, light and playful bustier gown. Carefully placed seams and design lines ensure the most flattering effect on the figure. The boned bodice ensures ample support, so you can comfortably dance the night away. Skirt remains fluid with lightweight lace, as it drapes elegantly from the hip allowing for generous flare and train.

Alterations

I used Rue De Seine seamstress Parisima, who helped me create a light strap with the excess trim. With her vast experience with the Rue De Seine brand and intricate lace, the additions feels as one with the dress. The sleeves can be easily removed if preferred, however they frame the dress beautifully, while hiding some typically bulging parts of the arms and shoulders, out the top of the corset.

These can also be easily removed without damaging the dress. Please ask if you would like to see details photos of the craftsmanship.
