The Dress
This is the dress and veil. My friend's mom bought this dress for $4000 in 1982. I took it to a seamstress who removed most of the back, the neck, and part of the chest to create a v line neck. She hand stitched the edges, and hand stitched a liner in the dress because the fabric is sheer. The fabric is some sort of polyester, and the lace appliques are glued on. The train is prone to wrinkling, but it can be steamed. I have small wrists so the wrist cuffs may be tight(5.5 in wrists). I'm 5'2 and wore 4 inch heels. The veil is included, and is not vintage. It is ivory with a few sequins sewn in the scalloped edges. I sent the dress and veil to Davids bridal to be cleaned so they are both beautiful packaged in a sealed box.
