The Dress

CONDITION
Unaltered Wtoo by Watters Philomene gown from BHLDN! Worn once, dry cleaned back to pristine condition. Photos on the hanger are taken days ago, they show the exact current condition (now it is back in its original garment bag, hanging in a closet, which I will also send to you). The dress was shockingly comfortable to wear (not heavy!) and held up 100% (not delicate!)— I danced for 4 hours with no issue. All the buttons stayed fully intact (they aren't all buttoned in the 2nd photo I included because I don't want to fiddle with them — but post dry cleaning yes they are all still there). The train was totally manageable too (and yes still spread out beautifully on my walk and for photos, the tiny amount of tulle inside is just the right amount of body without bulk). I couldn't have been happier with the balance of wearability and gorgeousness.

FIT
I have a fairly athletic build on a small frame and this gave me some curves on top and totally accommodated my booty. I got compliments on this dress all night from friends, parents' friends, strangers who saw my husband and me doing photos.

COLOR
The color of the "illusion tulle" (chest and back) is Light (Light 01) and it looked darker on the dress but was surprisingly great on my very fair skin. The lace is a very light ivory, the 3rd photo (zoomed to top half front of dress) probably shows it most truthfully (I think I caught some morning glow lighting in the full length photos, sorry about that).

Other details from the site:
- top applied hemline for easy alterations
- built-in bust cups (these worked great for me, I'm an A/B cup)
- back zip (this is below the buttons, thank goodness for this)

I really recommend checking the BHLDN site for more photos because none of mine quite do the gorgeous lace justice — the train/hem especially is this amazing intricate scalloped shape, giving art deco vibes to this romantic sculpture of a dress. I love that the lace is eyelash at the edges too - extra dreamy up close.
