The Dress

The one thing I kept hearing on my wedding day was You look like a princess! And I thought, great, that's exactly what I was going for. If you also want to look like a princess, let's talk!

I had this dress custom-made, and it was also professionally altered to add a bustle: the train ties up to the shoulders and creates a kind of cape, as you can see in the dancing photo. It worked out really well - I had a dramatic train for the ceremony and photography, and then bustled it for the reception, so it was like having two different dresses, both beautiful.

It's surprisingly comfortable and fun to wear. Don't worry about mismatching your bridal party; I had an ordinary semi-formal wedding with no theme, and didn't look out of place (just gorgeous!).

The dress has been cleaned and is in excellent condition. It's currently stored in a pretty display box, as shown. I have only good memories of this gown and only good things to say about it. I'm selling because I don't have the space to keep storing it for years, but I'd love to know that it's going to another bride who will enjoy it as much as I did. If you want it, I'll even throw in the tiara I wore - remember, we're princesses!
