The Dress

Selling my MAEVE gown by Wilderly Bride - F153
in Sand/Ivory

Maeve is such a gorgeous boho style dress with such a flattering fit, fitted to the mid-thigh and then falling beautifully to the floor, with a lace scalloped hem and such a stunning train that looks amazing when you walk.
The unique high neckline has a beautiful sheer lace, and the dress opens at the back for an almost fully open back, with straps that connect into a flattering cross back shape, with just the middle and low back exposed, which I found to be very flattering. Maeve also has a super comfortable fit since there is some stretch, with just some very subtle boning around the top for structure and built-in cups for shape, so wearing her really feels effortless and you are able to move around naturally - which means dancing all night in comfort! So easy to put on also, with a single zip at the back which is hidden with lovely false buttons over the bottom, and a simple hook & latch that connects the straps together.
She has a light-coloured underlay with a beautiful Ivory coloured lace layer over the top.

Purchased from Brides of Sydney, worn for my wedding, and has been cleaned by professional wedding dress dry cleaners and in very good, almost perfect condition!
There is the slightest notice of wear at the very bottom of the train, but really this is only visible if you look at it very closely, you would not be able to notice whilst wearing. Sold in original protective bag from the designer.

I absolutely loved wearing this gown for my wedding and it was everything I ever dreamed, it fit with my boho, country style wedding so well and I got so many compliments.

Alterations

The dress is almost in original condition with only some very slight alterations done, the straps have been taken in slightly at the back as they were quite long (which can be readjusted if needed). A small button has been added for train to be buttoned up as bustle, and just for comfort a small layer of material added under where the clasp that connects the straps at the back joins as it was a bit scratchy (not visible at all & purely for comfort).

The original dress length was perfect for me - for reference, I am 170cm and wore 5cm block heels.
I am normally a dress size of 8-10 in regular street wear.
