The Dress

Beautiful, top-quality custom gown—NEVER WORN. The color of the outer layer is a gentle ivory, while the underskirt and bodice are a delicate blush that will look great on anyone looking for a subtle hint of color, but will especially complement fair skin tones. It is incredibly comfortable—perfect for anyone easily irritated by cheap fabrics or itchy embellishments.

This gown features Shareen's "Samira" base dress in silk organza, with an extra overlay of tulle in the skirt for added volume and the designer's "Lea" topper in lace. The dress is fully incorporated into one piece. The overall effect is romantic and sweet—perfect for the Bridgerton wedding of your fairytale dreams! The structured bodice nips in at the waist to create an hourglass figure without emphasizing the belly or hips, while the flattering sweetheart neckline is given just a hint of modesty by the lace overlay. You can just make out the motif of lace flowers on the underskirt, especially as the sun shines through. The back is slightly low and incredibly flattering. A tailor could easily remove the cap-sleeved lace topper for a strapless sweetheart neckline or to replace it with something else that suits your style!

The gown was designed to be worn with a strapless, low-back bustier for support, but someone with slightly smaller measurements could definitely get it taken in a bit and go braless! The bodice does have some support.

This dress cost $4,000 in labor and materials, but my wedding was delayed and I decided to get something else instead. It has been carefully stored in a breathable garment bag in our smoke-free home since late 2020. It has no signs of wear or damage, nor any stains or musty smells.

Please note that the body measurements are an *estimate* made to the best of my memory, as my measurements have changed since the dress was fitted. At the time this dress was fitted I wore a 12 or 14 in almost all dresses and a 34F in bras, with curvy hips and a defined waist. Measurements taken from the dress while laid flat are included below!
