The Dress

My wedding gown was custom made by the super talented Luci di Bella from Armadale, Melbourne, completed in February 2022.

The dress is slightly off white and made of silk in an off the shoulder style, with an organza wrap around one arm which then wraps around into a stunning half bow at the back. The bodice fits like a glove and holds everything in place to ensure you are super comfortable, while the skirt is fitted around the waist and hips and flows beautifully out into a long train. The skirt has a finger loop at the end to hold it while walking, and can also bustle at the back to make it easy to move on the dance floor.

The beauty of this dress lies in its simple, comfortable and exceptionally flattering silhouette, but with an added a touch of drama at the back. It is incredibly glamorous! The silk fabric wears beautifully and didn’t crease at all throughout the day which was great for photos.


The gown was worn once on March 3rd 2022, and professionally hand dry cleaned at Syndals immediately after. It has come up really well, with just a few signs of minor wear but overall in great condition. There are a few very faint marks on the seam at the end of the train (which are barely noticeable and will be removed if the dress is hemmed) and one super tiny, incredibly faint mark around mid-thigh (which could likely be removed with another clean). Others might not bother to mention this tiny amount of wear but I want to be transparent and have discounted the dress accordingly.

The dress could be very easily altered to fit - either bringing in at the bodice, hips and through the skirt for the desired fit, or shortened in length.

I’m a size 6-8 (AUS sizing) generally. My measurements are:
Height: 174cm (and I wore 9cm heels on the day, so the dress length is designed for 183cm)

Bust: 82cm
Waist: 67cm
Hips: 93cm

This gown was an absolute joy to wear and I received so many compliments on it. I'm sure will bring great joy to the next lucky lady!

Happy to throw in my veil for free if you would like it. It was a long two tier veil secured by a hair comb, and I wore one tier over my face while walking up the aisle. The veil has a small tear in the bottom corner which could easily be repaired.
