The Dress

About:
Shockingly stunning Berta Privee 21-P106 mermaid dress in nude and ivory. Sweetheart top with sheer boning, ivory flowers, and tulle off the shoulder sleeves that can be worn off as I did or up on your shoulders. This dress was draw-droppingly pretty, and pictures do not do it justice. At my wedding people were beside themselves about how gorgeous and unique the gown was. It is a true and romantic show stopper.

Condition:
I wore the gown only for my ceremony (20 minutes) and cocktail hour (1 hour). It is in p-e-r-f-e-c-t condition. Dress has been professionally and organically dry cleaned ($220).

Price:
Purchased from Sposa Bella Couture in Birmingham Michigan for $8499 + tax. Alterations were $450. I really loved this dress and am pretty sentimental about selling it, so only competitive offers, please.

Fit:
I am a street 4 through and through. On my body (see measurements) it was VERY fitted around my waist. Everywhere else it was looser, especially on my chest and around my hips and legs. Could likely fit someone slightly bigger than all of my measurements except for the waist. I had it hemmed to my height (5' 10 1/2) + shoes (1 1/2 inch heels) for a total height of 6'0. I was still tripping on the front a little bit so women 6'0 1/2 could probably still wear this.

Alterations

I must have lost a little weight because I had to add some cups and pin an inch in on the chest last minute because it was gaping on my chest (can be taken out/expanded, verified by the seamstress; have a video I can show you). I also added a bustle in the back, took it in my lower back (can be undone/ expanded again), and hemmed the dress to 6'0.
