The Dress

This trumpet style, lace gown was so comfy for my outdoor barn & mountain wedding! She felt like a big ol' beautiful hug the whole day.

The lace and shape made her elegant, but also versatile as she moved with me and boogied down as the night went on!

There's just enough of a train for that wow-factor as you glide down the aisle, but she also has a hidden handle for quick pick-ups in a pinch! And once you're ready for the dance floor, she's got a nifty a color-coded ribbon bustle beneath the layers of the dress custom-made by my seamstress for easy-peasy transition! Even my brother, who was my "Man of Honor," was able to figure it out.

I can't forget to mention too, that sitting down for dinner was totally fine! My seamstress reminded me during our fittings to make sure to sit down, and I'm so glad we did! The beautiful (real!) buttons down the back and fabric layers themselves have just enough give so that when you're seated, you don't feel like you're in the latest episode of Bridgerton.

This dress served me SO well on our wedding day—and she had fun! She did travel up into the woods with me for pictures, so I was sure to have the dry cleaners do the full stop. They gave her a detailed cleaning and repair from top to bottom, and she's been boxed up for safe keeping ever since. The veil is boxed in there too! An added $250 expense at the time, but a complimentary bonus to whoever chooses to give this lacey gal a second chance to celebrate some love!

Alterations

The dress was simply taken in at the hips/waist and shortened a bit. I am 5'4" and wore about 2.5-inch heels with the dress.
