The Dress

The Katarina gown definitely makes a strong statement! With a bold lip this is the epitome of power dressing. A fabulous design for modern brides with pockets in the skirt and a soft A-line silhouette. Made from duchesse satin with silk-covered buttons and a thin silk satin belt.

The Katarina gown is from the Modern Romance collection designed by Jacelyn Leigh at White Lilly Atelier.

* PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS DRESS IS INCLUSIVE OF A NEW, UNUSED VEIL DESIGNED BY JACELYN LEIGH (DECIDED TO GO WITH A FLOWER CROWN INSTEAD ON THE DAY), AS WELL AS A NEW AND UNUSED FOREVER NEW WHITE WEDDING WINTER FAUX FUR COAT.

Alterations

The dress has been bought in at the waist (size 6), the hips remain size 8 as per A-line dress structure.

* There is a microscopic hole (if you are looking for faults) in the netting of the see-through chest vest, which I didn't even notice during the fittings. I have included photographs for reference - it can't be seen hanging up or when worn.

You can choose to wear the thin silk satin belt (which will need to be sewn onto the gown) , or can be removed completely like the model in the photographs. There is silk satin thread and extra buttons included in the bag.
