The Dress

NEVER WORN (but tried on) SAMPLE (originally size 12) that I altered down to around a size 4 (ALTERED: my Bust= 32'5"/ Waist= 26”/Low hip= 34”/ height= 5'2.5"). I wore heels that are around 3” for the hemming). It does have some stretch in the lace of the bodice.

The alteration also include covering part of the deep V with lace and putting a liner into the bodice (for modesty!). I also had a gorgeous 3 point bustle installed. Please see my pictures of the dress for a detailed view of these alterations.

This dress has a pearl Mikado skirt that brings a traditional vibe to this gown, while the sheer, layered lace bodice feels new and fresh. Adorned with pearls and bugle beads, the lace from the bodice extends slightly onto the full skirt, balancing out the deep sweetheart neckline perfectly. The sheer bodice continues through the back of the gown, and the style is completed with a slight train. The back of this modern ballgown zips up beneath fabric-covered buttons that run the length of the skirt.

It is absolutely stunning!

Sized down from 12 to 4 (could be taken out if needed)
