The Dress
This gorgeous wedding dress I purchased in a size 10 and had professionally altered to fit me as a size 8. I specifically asked my dressmaker to leave extra material so it could be re-altered / let out and fitted for the next buyer.
My bra size is 12B and I used strapless fillets to fill the dress and give definition in the bust. It would also fit a C cup or bigger without fillets. The cap sleeve supported the dress comfortably and the skirt is not heavy or difficult to manage. I had a loop made at the back to give the option of pinning up the train.
I wore wedge heels rather than stilettos to give my feet extra support as you won’t see the shoes.
I was very comfortable in the dress all day and danced in it all night. Price is open to negotiation :)
Alterations
- Hemmed at the bottom.
- Small loop made at the back of the dress for an option to pin up part of the train. This is unnoticeable and the dress maintains a beautiful shape when pinned up.
