I don't remember my measurements when I purchased this dress, but I could have gone with a 10 or 12. The 10 just would have shown more coreset lace-up. My normal jean size was 8/10.
This dress wasn't what I originally thought I would leave with, but none of the others brought in by the associate felt right. I ended up doing my own walk through and pulled this one, Loved it! It was so simple but beautiful with the organza material and ruching. It made me feel like "me" but in a wedding gown.
I tried a similar style at a bigger box store, but there wasn't any comparison between quality, fit and feel - the Stella York from a smaller boutique ticked all the boxes. Very figure flattering and the corset back definitely allows for wiggle room in sizing.
There is *not a belt included. The first photo with me on the pedestal is in the sample dress and the next is when my actual dress arrived. Did a try on and quick 'lace-up' lesson with an associate.
