The Dress

This striking Demetrios Louis gown is made with embellished lace over sheer and Organza. The botanical lace is very unique and what drew me in to this masterpiece. It is a sheath gown with a stunning illusion back. The carefully placed beading really helps this dress to shine!
I felt like a goddess in this dress on my wedding day! We married outside in March in NorCal, so I only have some pictures with the dress uncovered by my fur wrap. The color of inner organza layer is nude so the dress appears darker in certain lighting and especially on the hanger, but the ivory lace and beading make it much brighter, which comes out especially well in photos.
This dress is too beautiful to be worn only once - my only hope is that it can make someone else feel as happy and beautiful as I did on my wedding day!

Alterations

The dress has been altered for length and also in the top. For the top portion, the material is still there (was not cut, just the hem opened and brought in) so it can be let out again. The dress was also bustled. There are bustles on the lace outer skirt, and also some on one of the inner layers. Two of the three bustles on the inner layer were ripped by my photographer when in the moment we couldn't get them untangled as the bustles were done with beading that somehow got too wrapped up- so just the inside bustles would need to be redone if you wanted them.
