The Dress

Corset Lace Ballgown ( this one had the tool removed to be A-Line) with liquid shimmer accent & hand applied dimensional floral detailing. This dress is truly stunning. The ways it moves and shimmers when you walk & dance is magical. Really only selling this dress because I feel bad keeping it in a closet for the rest of its years, I think she deserves another chance to shine & make another bride so happy on her wedding day!

Alterations

this dress was taken in significantly at the waist. I was a US size 2/4 for my wedding (specifically I am 5'4 and was 119 lbs). there was also a good amount cut off the bottom - I am 5'4 and wore 2.5 inch heels on my wedding day. We had straps made out of the appliqué that are connected to the dress to add support, but these could be removed if you wanted to have the dress strapless again. I added bra cups to the dress for extra support and a clean look, these could also be removed without damaging the dress. And lastly we took out the large layer of tool to give the dress an A-line style instead of a ballgown. This was a much more flattering look on a shorter person & made the dress much easier to walk & dance in. The dress has a full train & there is already hooks for the bustle. the alterations on this dress were over 2,000 and done by the most reputable wedding seamstress in Houston - Coutures By Laura
