The Dress
I loved wearing this dress and felt so beautiful in it. I wore it all day from 10am to 3am and felt comfortable the whole day. It was also great to dance in.
This Lawton Charlie Brear dress was ordered in a size 16 and then adjusted for my measurements:
- Bust 38 inches
- Under Bust 33 inches
- Waist 34 inches
- High Hip 42.5 inches
- Low Hip 45 inches
- Waist to Floor 44 inches
I drycleaned the dress within days of the wedding, returning it to pristine condition. With the exception of the hem which has some wear and tear from the day, the dress looks to be in a new condition. Given my height (6ft) and the fact that whoever buys the dress will most likely be shorter than me, the hem should not be a problem.
Alterations
The dress was lengthened slightly in the body and taken in around the back after the first fitting.
