The Dress

This is the Wilderly Marlowe by Allure bridal in nude and ivory. The material of this dress is lace over English net with stretch lining. I read a description of this dress as the "yoga pants" of wedding dresses and I didn't believe it until I tried it on. It's incredibly comfortable! We eloped in Glacier national park and I had no issue hiking to a beach or climbing across rocks during photos. It somehow captures the line between beautiful and relaxed and I couldn't image finding a more perfect dress.

If it was practical to keep a wedding dress forever, I would. I just hope I can pass this on to someone who will love it as much as I did. The dress has minimal wear, mainly some discoloration on the hem of the lining from walking that would likely disappear with dry cleaning. Wear is not visible on the exterior of the dress, It was worn for a sunrise elopement and aside from being exposed to nature escaped the majority of wear and tear.

Alterations

Minimal alterations, the top of the straps were taken in slightly to avoid gaping. The dress was also ordered in a custom length (for reference I am about 5'5" with the shoes I wore). Clear buttons were added to the train to allow the dress to bustle.
