The Dress

Classic and romantic Carolina Herrera wedding gown. Recently refurbished by an excellent alteration specialist, more room to fit if needed. Pearlescent 8 ft. train that snaps into a bustle. Surprisingly comfortable to wear. Lightly flared, fitted at the hips. Slight high-low effect which makes walking and dancing elegant and easy. Perfect, perfect condition. Stain free and recently dry cleaned. The dress is stunning, unforgettable, perfect for any season.

The former blushing bride (me) just learned there's a baby on the way. Time to find the dress a new home and get some itty bitty jumpers instead!

Alterations

Completely refurbished bodice with excellent structure. Refurbished fixtures and buttons supporting the train. Room to alter. The women that refurbished this dress was a genius. This was my mothers dress and she altered the entire piece- in the words of my mother, "It's better than new." The alterationist worked for 10 years at Neiman Marcus and did costumes with the Lyric Opera in Chicago. She has a special affection for Carolina Herrera pieces and did an outstanding job.
