The Dress

This Mikado ball gown from David's Bridal has flattering, clean lines and a simple silhouette, making an elegant statement.
• The seamed, structured high-neck bodice leads to a keyhole back
• Covered buttons accent the back seam from waist to train
• Sheer tulle insets on the sides provide subtle detail
• The dress has hidden side pockets, which were super useful on the day to hide lippy and tissues
• Sweeping train at the back
• Back zipper; fully lined
• There is also a bustle at the back, meaning the dress can be buttoned up for dancing in the evening - I've included a picture of of how the dress looked while we did our first dance :)
• Size 6 in David's Bridal sizing - but I'm actually a size 10 (apparently bridal gown sizing is different to everyday sizes)
• The dress has been professionally cleaned by a specialist wedding dress cleaning company, so the condition is like new
I felt amazing in this dress - if you like simplicity and classic elegance, but with the wow factor of a ballgown, then this is the dress for you :)

Alterations

1. I had a beautiful diamante and faux pearl waistband professionally stitched to the front waist of the dress to add a touch of glamour and make it unique
2. Size C bra cups have also been professionally stitched to the front of the dress, removing the need for a bra and therefore keeping the clean lines of the bodice - these could be removed if needed though
