The Dress

I LOVED wearing this beautiful gown - it was the perfect balance of wedding day glamour, and soft feminine beauty.

I wanted to feel sexy (and also really drop my man's jaw - you know!), but also feel elegant and timeless. For me, this dress nailed that balance! *Insert chefs kiss!*

The super low back was one of my favourite things about this gown, and the gorgeous little belt that runs across the back, really made it unique. The lace and buttons at the back are just gorgeous.

The details in the beading, sequins and lace really add to the glam factor.

We got married outdoors, and it was perfect for the setting, but could also easily fit right into a more glamourous location.

I wore this incredible gown on my wedding day in January, and it is still in great condition. Has been dry-cleaned.

I had the straps shortened slightly when it was altered, and unfortunately they sewed one of the straps on twisted. This was not noticed until the wedding day, as it wasn't too noticeable given the texture of the straps - but may be something that you would want to fix.

Alterations

Ordered as size 14 on the bottom and size 10 on top, and altered to fit. It has been brought in around the waist, hips, under the butt, underarms, and straps shortened slightly (unfortunately twisted - as mentioned above). I am usually a size 10 pants, and 10/S in tops. I am between an A-B Cup, but the cups on the dress were a little big for me.

The dress was altered to have a lining on the front side of the bodice (rather than sheer), but still has sheer lace detail on the back side of the bodice, and has the belt around the waist that runs across the open, low back, which can be removed. Train was shortened, but same circular fan-out shape maintained at the bottom.
