The Dress

From designer Naeem Khan’s Spring 2022 bridal collection, the dress is an absolute work of art, custom made with interweaved silk ribbons woven onto a nude tulle base for an intricately beautiful pattern that accentuates all the write curves. It has soft bows on each shoulder with flowing silk ribbons that descend on both sides creating a beautiful silhouette that flows as you walk and dance. The open back detail is cut in the right angles while maintaining a classic look. I chose to pair the dress with a veil coming out of the shoulders and silk opera gloves for a unique touch. It is lined on the inside with a nude lining so you can’t see underwear beneath. The dress fits super comfortably and is not heavy at all which is another reason I loved it and was able to enjoy it. Its easy to walk in and dance in. Its been professionally dry cleaned. The ribbons on the shoulders can be removed. You can bustle the dress in an English or French style bustle easily with hidden clip and/or ribbon to tie and hold up so you can dance.

Alterations

Waist line was taken in and dress was hemmed to align with my shoe height (with shoes approximately 5’10). Nude lining added beneath to not see underwear. Ribbons were cut slightly.
