The Dress

If you want to feel like a glam boho princess, there is no better dress than the stunning Amelie by Bo & Luca. It's got everything a less traditional bride could want: designed as two gorgeous separates, each with hand-sewn embroidery and Antique Gold beading, whimsical silk chiffon frills with raw hems, and a fit & flare skirt with the added elegance of a small train.

The top is semi-cropped (shows off just the good bits!) with a more relaxed fit, complimented by the high-waisted skirt that hugs your booty and then flares out with the tiered ruffles. It's an absolute dream to move in; light, comfortable and just so FUN to wear.

This dress will especially suit anyone who's bigger on the bottom than the top; the separates are super flattering, particularly the skirt which I found to hug all the right places, accentuate the curves I wanted and hide the ones I didn't.

The dress is in excellent condition, with no beading missing that I can find and professionally cleaned & stored via MyDressBox. There are some small marks & discolourations on the bottom of the skirt that the cleaner wasn't able to remove, but they are practically invisible when the skirt is on. Happy to send more photos to show the details of these slight imperfections.

Alterations

The top is unaltered, off the rack size 10.
The skirt has been altered to give more room at the hips (thanks lockdown!) as well as being taken up a little - my height is 174cm + 9cm heels - and a bustle put in so you can safely dance the night away without standing on the train. Naturally all done by a bridal alterations specialist, and easily adjusted/taken in to suit your measurements.
