The Dress

Due to COVID restrictions repeatedly delaying our wedding we ended up cancelling our big day (we had a micro wedding ceremony instead) so I sadly didn't get to wear this beautiful gown. It has never been worn except for the in-store final fitting and has been stored lying flat on a bed in its breathable garment bag at my parents' house in a smoke- and pet-free home.

Description from Rue De Seine: With the boho bride in mind, designed to capture the Moroccan sunlight, Medina is adorned with Rue De Seine’s two mirrored laces and hand knotted fringe. Mirror lace is used throughout to make sure it twinkles from every angle. Flared sleeves balance out the full skirt, while a fitted bodice flatters a multitude of shapes and sizes. Low back with tassel tie balances out full sleeves and adds to the playful bohemian vibe.

My gown includes the long slip ('Lovesong') and the colour is described by Rue De Seine as off-white. It does not include a veil. I have curvy hips and am a size 8-10 on the top and a 12 on the bottom and I found the gown to fit beautifully on my hips, but was a bit loose on the top so I was planning to have it altered to fit perfectly. It was just gorgeous though and is a style that would suit many body types.
