The Dress

This is a BRAND NEW, NEVER WORN, beautiful and elegant strapless, ivory dress. If you love the vintage look, then this delicate lace, column style dress is perfect. Style no: LM1526

This dress is absolutely lovely. It's by Lusan Mandongus ( style no LM1526) and is a fitted, column/mermaid style dress that hangs down beautifully.

It has a delicate vintage effect and feel because of the two layers of different lace which glide over a satin dress and the detail on the top lace layer is superb. This strapless double-layered exquisite lace dress also features a band of twisted silk around the middle, which shows the waist off perfectly. ( It could look lovely with a vintage brooch attached, possibly). It also has the luxury of an inner corset, and fastens with a zip hidden by buttons at the back. The differences in the two layers of lace are more apparent in the skirt. There is a satin underskirt then 2 layers of lace. The under-lace has a pretty rose pattern whereas the top layer is a delicate, beaded with pearls, slightly sparkly, floral lace finished with a scalloped edge. The back of the dress features an area of densely patterned lace at the top of the train which can be pinned up in a bustle to reveal a silk bow and the gathered lace train.

This dress was made to measure for me, a pear-shaped woman! It's a size 10/12 on top and a size 12/14 on the bottom half. To draw more attention to the top half, I decided to have it made into more of a sweetheart neckline. The bustle is also something that I changed. It now hangs down naturally and elegantly. The bow ribbon however is included, and can be attached with a popper so that the train can be gathered up into a bustle for later on in the evening.

It's a stunning dress, perfect for a pear-shaped lady or for someone who's a size 10 who can alter the bottom half of the dress. The length is unaltered so is suitable for any bride. It's brand-new and unworn. Originally bought for £1,850, now a bargain for a very lucky bride at £1,000. But I am willing to discuss a BEST OFFER.
