The Dress

I had to try this dress on the store to realize its full potential. It is perfect for a busty gal like me who wants to show off a little "something" but not be that bride pulling her dress top up all night!! I wear a size 36D bra and I tell you, it was SUCH a relief to wear this dress and be fully secure, feel classy, but also very sexy. The back has the corset, which my seamstress *lightly* stitched into place, so please be sure to bring the dress straight to a tailor/seamstress and remember they can adjust or remove the corset tie. I thought I was going to have it be open-back, but the corset helped a lot with keeping my top secure. I ended up really enjoying the extra detail. I loved that this dress was COMFORTABLE and I danced all night in it!! It has an American bustle option, and the train was shortened to be beautiful but also practical.

Note: I bought this dress New from a boutique in Spring 2021, but I think it was from 2020.

Alterations

Altered to secure the tie of the corset in place. Altered down from size 12 to fit my size 8 / curvy frame. Had it taken in at top and waist. Altered for height (I am 5'4", wore 2-inch heeled boots). Altered to shorten the train (it is as you see in the pictures... I really liked having a shorter train!!). American bustle added.
