The Dress

Bought this dress sample from an Etsy store. I was going to wear it for my evening reception, but I’ve changed my mind.

The dress is beautiful and a like for like remake of Pippa Middleton’s bridesmaid dress at Kate’s wedding. Though it now has a beautiful chapel length train and in a satin like fabric.

I am 5’6, and with 4 inch heels this dress floats on the floor. There is enough fabric to drop it down or take it up further. Whilst the fabric is polyester, it appears satin like.

I had beading on the neckline and sleeves removed by a seamstress after purchasing. There is minimal puckering on the fabric and I have taken photos in the most unforgiving light to be as transparent as possible. It is completely unseen unless using super up close.

This dress was purchased and has never been worn, though it has been tried on and there are a small couple of marks on the bottom of the skirt. Again, invisible unless monitored super up close.

I am very happy for any bride to travel to try this dress on, if useful I’m in London frequently and can get to a reasonable location to deliver or give it a spin before making decision subject to availability and reasonable travel arrangements.

Alterations

Beading on neckline and sleeves has been removed by a seamstress.
