The Dress

I absolutely loved this dress! So dramatic and unique. With my custom additions I really felt like it looked like a Triple the price Galia lahav or Riki Dalal dress. I hope another bride gives this stunning dress another chance to Shine!

The dress is extremely light weight, comfortable and easy to move in. The bodice is boned and really felt secure, it sucks you in and gives the most amazing waist! But it’s still light weight and comfortable, comfort was my main priority in my wedding day! I didn’t have to pull up the dress once during the day, which I was originally worried about when choosing a strapless dress, it was so secure. The skirt has a under silk layer, a horse hair layer to give it the structure, and a few tulle layers, meaning it is so dramatic, full and swishy! but it is also so light weight and flows as you move, it really felt so easy and light to move in. There is a bustle on the dress but I didn’t use it as it was so fun and easy to swish about in even on the dance floor. It’s probably a mix between an a line and ball gown because the skirt is so full and dramatic with an amazing train!

I added two custom sleeves to this dress (this is originally a strapless dress), so you Have the options for two different sleeves/ straps (or strapless!). I designed Custom puff ball off the shoulder sleeves (pictured) and thin over the shoulder straps. Both are removable and fitted with poppers and you can even choose to wear the dress strapless if you don’t want the sleeves. Both sleeves/ straps will be included with the dress

For reference I am a uk high street size 8 (but with the alterations I think this dress might be closer to a uk size 6) and 5.5ft tall, I wore 2 inch heels and dress was perfectly to the floor in the front, and there is obviously a big train at the back.

Dress as been professionally dry cleaned and visually looks perfect, however there are a few marks on the inside silk layer of the bottom of the skirt (and a small few on the outside silk skirt layer- but this is hidden by all the other tulle layers of the dress and only Visable if you look under all the skirts and inside the dress)

Alterations

The dress can also be bussled, although I chose not to in the end as it was so lightweight and so fun to swish about in!
