The Dress
This dress was made for fashion week as a couture wearable art collaboration between designer Alex Perry and Australian artist George Raftopolous.
It was then part of a wearable art gallery collection and is one of a kind. The skirt features hand painted artwork in golds on ivory silk.
The skirt has been fold hemmed to size so as not to damage the artwork. This is an absolutely spectacular dress to wear and is truly a collection piece.
There is a full tule underskirt which I wore to the ceremony and then removed for the reception lunch, so as to have both the drama and versatility.
