The Dress

Vera Wang – true fairy-tale dress.
Fernanda dress purchased December 2019.
From the Iconic Bridal Collection., purchased at the Wedding Gallery in London.
Description
Stunning ivory strapless silk satin bodice with big organza ball gown.
Basque waist and very dramatic multi layer tulle skirt.
Mid back.
Floor length dress with trail.
Satin inner lining under the tulle.
Covered zip at back with hook and eye fastening.
Bustle professionally added so you can hook up some of the underneath of the dress for dancing.

Size
Size 6 and shortened for me – I am 5’2 and wore 3.5 inch heels.

Condition
Worn once at my wedding in September 2021, dry cleaned and kept in Vera Wang dust bag.
Outer dress in excellent used condition – inner tulle in good ‘used’ condition and this is reflected in the price.
There are a number of small rips in the tulle at the bottom of the dress – see photo - but because there are so many layers these are not noticeable but if this was bothersome then you could have these neatened off by shortening the dress slightly.
There is also some discolouration on the inside bottom of the dress but again when the dress is on this is of course totally hidden.

Dress is in my spare room in St Albans, Hertfordshire and happy for it to be tried on.

Alterations

A bustle added.
