The Dress

Hello! Thank you for checking out my beautiful, unique, one of a a kind custom dress by Stella York and Bowen Dryden.

Quick summary:
- worn once for 5 hours for pre-wedding blessing

- only dress length was altered to 5ft7 (I'm 5ft4 and wore 3" heels, dress was tailored to run full length based on my height and shoes).

- I'm a true UK size 12 and 34DD bra size and dress fitted like a glove.

The dress itself is a strapless Dove satin ballgown, clean and chic with a high-fashion twist. It has fabric buttons running all the way down the back to the very end of the train. The train is magnificent and dramatic.
It's not a heavy dress to wear, and a combination of boning, discreet banded strap at the waist, zip and hook provides a plunge effect to the front and will keep you feeling secure in the dress throughout the day. My dressmaker also added a loop at the end of the train which you can put round your wrist so you can dance the night away without worrying about the train.

This dress is unique and you won't find it anywhere else. Colourful wedding dresses are in high demand right now, and I personally loved the idea of adding some colourful embroidery to my wedding gown. To do this, I paired the simple satin beauty with
the stunning Bowen Dryden cow parsley embroidered top.
It has gorgeous colourful embroidery front and back, and complements the fabric buttons on the dress, as the top also has fabric buttons running down its back.
The top is removable and it was honestly like having two dresses and I loved the shock on people's faces when I took the top off (good shock!).

The dress has been altered. I am 5ft4 and wore 3" heels. So would suit someone 5ft 7" tall or less.
The waist sizing of the dress has not been altered. It is a size 12 and still is a size 12.

Note to buyer: I wore this dress once for 5 hours for our pre-wedding blessing. Therefore I haven't got to dry cleaned and the price reflects this. Some markings may be found UNDER the dress train.

Alterations

No alternations to waist.
Length altered. I'm 5ft 4 and wore 3" heels. Dress would suit a bride 5ft7 in flats, or shorter.
