The Dress

I absolutely loved this dress. This dress features a fitted, sheer upper bodice (I wore pasties), with strategically placed, beautiful flowers. The plunging v neck-line was gorgeous and was the perfect hint of sexy that I was going for.

The fit is sort of a-line and sort of fitted across the hips. I wanted to be able to dance and move in this dress and comfort was a priority. Overall, I felt very comfortable wearing it.

The skirt features three layers: two sheer layers and two layers of satin (?). The train is short and fans out gorgeously.

We added wrist hold hidden in the center lower bottom of the dress that can be worn on the wrist to hold the train up.

I love how unique this dress is--it captures just the right mix of elegance and spice and I felt absolutely gorgeous wearing it.

Alterations

I bought this dress in a size 10. The dress was shortened to fit/skim the floor (I wore Birkenstocks, not heels for the wedding). It was also tightened across the bodice. The center back seam was opened and then reclosed to make the whole thing smaller.
