The Dress

Custom made A-line V-neck tulle dress from Etsy shop Vicky Mermaid Bridal. Purchased for $440 including customization cost and fit like a glove out of the mail. Main fabric of dress is polyester. Worn for a 2 minute city hall civil ceremony and 3 hour photoshoot. It is a light dress that is very easy to move in, breathable, and comfortable. Dress has pockets, which were very useful for stowing mask/wallet/phone on my wedding. Dress is also machine washable (inside out in a garment bag on delicate). Dress is washed, has no stains, and smells faintly of fresh laundry soap from washing three times. Zipper is very smooth, easy for even a wide-hipped bride to step into (you will not need to pull this dress over your head). Bodice has boning and cups, I did not need a bra (I am an A-cup). Dress is completely opaque in all lighting except for straps and parts of the back. I shortened the straps (see photos), this can easily be reversed by seamstress if needed. Has a modest train with a hand-loop (see photos). Dress is not hemmed, Dress is not bustled.
