The Dress

Selling this beautiful Maggie Sottero Vintage Sheath Wedding Dress.

This vintage-inspired wedding dress features a beaded bodice, with illusion plunging V neckline and square back. Beaded straps feature illusion side insets. Sheath skirt comprised of tulle with a princess seam slit. Finished with covered buttons over zipper closure, drifting from back to hem.

- Purchased for my wedding in 2020 from Raffaelle Cuica in Melbourne.

- Colour is “Ivory over Soft Blush”

- I’m a size 8-10 and 5’10 height

- I wore 4cm heels and then changed into a platform sneaker which had a 3.5cm platform height

Measurements taken lying flat:
Waist end to waist end 37cm
Top of dress to waist 42cm
Top of dress to bottom of dress 156cm
Waist to bottom of dress 114cm
Train from bottom of dress to longest part of train 95cm
Bra size fits a B cup

Alterations

I only had $800 worth of alterations done, mostly minor ones around the bodice.

I also had double cups inserted into the bra part to create extra cleavage (these can easily be removed if needed)

8 small bustle hooks were added so I could bustle up the dress for dancing! This worked great and meant I could spend the night dancing without tripping over any fabric!

Unless you need to take the hem up, you shouldn’t need to alter much at all!
