The Dress

This dress made me look and feel so beautiful on my wedding day in March 2015 and I felt like a true princess!

Instead of preserving and packing it away in a storage room, I feel that this dress deserves to be passed on to another bride-to-be who will appreciate the beauty of this lovely A-line/Princess V-neck dress.

The dress consists of 100% pure ivory silk, tule, a small section of ivory lace (to embellish the lace-up back) and the bodice of the dress is very structured and sewn with Swarovski crystals. This dress is made by Australian designer Wendy Sullivan, which retailed for $2800 brand new.

It is an Australian size 14, however with the lace-up, the dress can fit from a size 12 figure to a size 16. I’m around 168cm in height and my wedding shoes were a mid heel.

The skirt consists of pure silk over layered tule. It also has a beautiful Silk train and is able to be clipped up onto the dress.

It is a fairly full skirt, but is not over the top as I had some of the stiff tule removed - you can have a fuller skirt if you choose to wear a hoop.

This dress has been hand cleaned professionally by Syndal's Bridal, right after I got back from my honeymoon for a cost of $600. Condition of the dress is ‘as new’.
