The Dress

I bought this crepe bodice gown with a plunging V-neck (with mesh between), multiple crossover spaghetti straps at the back, and center front slit for my wedding that ended up being cancelled due to COVID. I added a fabric belt, but it is detachable. There are fabric covered buttons all the way down the center back of skirt to the hem. The fit and flare style is very flattering, but still comfortable. I planned to get married on top of a mountain and felt like I had plenty of mobility in it.

It was a sample dress and has very minor coloring on the inside of the bodice(see photo). There are also a few very minor smudges on the train, but nothing noticeable unless you are very close-up. The dress has not been cleaned, as I didn't end up wearing it. I think a professional cleaning would take care of these very minor imperfections.

Alterations

The dress was professionally altered before I had to cancel my wedding. The dress was taken in from a size 10 to roughly a size 4 (exact measurements [removed]. It was shortened to ever so slightly above the floor at 5'4" (I intended to wear flat shoes). The train was shortened to about half of its original length (you can see the final train length in one of the photos). A color coded bustling system was added, which makes bustling a breeze. Bra cups were added, but can be removed. A thin champagne colored ribbon/sash was added around the waist, but can be removed. The mesh in the v-neck was reinforced so as not to tear.
