The Dress

This dress is truly a dream. The bodice is covered in a modern lace pattern that caps your shoulders and wraps around to a sheer back. The skirt is a rich champagne satin that's light enough to flow with your movements, but structured enough that it won't show every little curve. This dress feels like an understated art deco look and makes me want to pop a bottle of bubbly. The color is even better in person, and everyone will comment the uniqueness of this dress.

Okay, now to business. 🙂 I bought this dress new in Spring 2016, and wore it once at my June 2016 wedding. It was professionally cleaned later that summer, and looks like new. No stains or signs of wear whatsoever. The bustle, buttons, zipper, and the inner elastic band are all in tact. The dress was kept in it's sealed box until a few months ago, when I started toying with the idea of selling it. I've inspected it thoroughly, and can't find any flaws. The video was taken specifically for this posting, so it shows the gown's current condition. I chose to show it in a warmer light because my wedding photos all have a cool tone.

Alterations

The alterations were minimal, but included hemming the skirt and bringing in the waist slightly. I am 5'9" and wore flats at my wedding. The idea was to have the gown graze the ground, without creating a trip hazard. When standing still, the dress covers my feet.

When I wore the dress I was approx. 140lb and had a bra size of 34D/C. Please don't hesitate to reach out with questions about sizing.
